Enhancing the older HG-61 and HG-50 9 speed cassettes, the new HG-400 Alivio Cassette features larger hollow spaces in the sprockets to shave approximately 11% weight without affecting performance or durability. Available in a wide selection of tooth profiles from the super wide range 12-36T and 11-34T cassettes and a narrower 11-28T that optimises cadence. Compatible with Shimano IG-Chains for silent and fluent shifting. The Alivio HG-400 9 Speed Cassette features Hyperglide shaped cogs to ensure maximum shifting performance by guiding the chain quickly and directly to the next sprocket without causing overdrive.
