The Winchelsea takes the proven geometry of the Glencoe Road Plus bike and seamlessly integrates it with the Fazua Evation eBike system. The Glencoe was one of the best all-round bikes that Whyte have ever made. it combined a stiff and lightweight aluminium construction with a comfortable, relaxed approach to geometry. The result was a confidence-inspiring bike that you could fly down hills on or tackle the tougher roads. The Winchelsea takes all this and seamlessly integrates it with the Fazua Evation eBike system to give you that extra helping hand when you need it. The Fazua Evation system is barely noticable, with the battery discreetly housed in the downtube and the assistance motor subtley hidden around the bottom bracket. You have access to three modes of assistance that are easily controlled from the handlebar mounted remote so you can tailor your ride on the go. The SRAM Apex 1 drivetrain provides 11 gear with efficient, accurate and reliable shifting, as well as a simplicity that can't be rivalled. The wide gear ratio combined with eBike assistance ensures you can tackle any ascent put in your way. You can also descend as well as you ascend thanks to the confidence-inspiring SRAM hydraulic disc brakes providing all-weather stopping power and modulation.
