The Scott Aspect 730 is a hardtail mountain bike designed to be efficient, lightweight and reasonably priced, perfect for novice or budget-conscious riders. The Aspect 730 has a very good specification for the price. A Shimano Deore 9 speed drivetrain gives you plenty of gear choice from big to small so you can spin up steep climbs and fly down fast descents. A double chainring set up allows you to be more precise about your cadence without the big jumps between gears that are sometimes experienced with a single chainring set up. Rockshox forks with 100mm of travel are high functioning and reliable as well as adjustable to the riding conditions. Scott's RideLoc remote system allows you to lock out to fork to give you extra efficiency on smoth terrain, and open it up to give you the full travel to soften bumpy terrain and soak up hard rocky trail hits. Internal cable routing gives the bike a sleek look as well as adding life to give your cables for less maintainance in the long run. 27.5 inch wheels have less rotational weight so are therefore easier to whip up to speed, and provide a more nimble ride feel than a 29er. With 2.4 tyres you'll have plenty of traction and the perfect combiantion of agility, balance and momentum.
